The Discovery Health Care Foundation is proud to announce that $28,000 was raised at the annual Radiothon.  Thank you to:  All our donors, although there are too many to list, please know that we appreciate each and every one of your donations, you are the ones that make our campaigns a success  -- VOCM and all the staff who were there to broadcast the Radiothon --- Laurabel Mba from VOCM Cares Foundation and for their donation of $1,000 --- Evelyn Tilley, Manager of Mental Health & Addictions Services for Clarenville, Bonavista & Burin, for speaking about Mental Health & Addictions --- Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for helping out on the phones, receipts and mailing as they do each year and for their donation of $10,000 --- Irene Fudge for helping with the running and tallying --- Aliant Telecom Pioneers for helping on the phones and for their donation of $100 --- Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 27, Clarenville donated $5,000 --- Scotiabank donated $5,000 --- International Order of Odd Fellows donated $1,000 --- Clarenville Honda donated $500 & Bruce’s Recreation donated $500 --- Sobeys for providing coffee for the volunteers --- Bell Aliant for setting up the phones --- Hospital maintenance for bringing the tables and chairs from the hospital --- Donna Walsh, Manager of Random Square Mall for allowing us to set up there again this year, and maintenance staff at the mall for helping set up (greatly appreciated).  --- The Packet for advertising for a month --- Kevin Parsons, Chair of Discovery Health Care Foundation for attending and being the voice of the Foundation.  Thank you to everyone for your support, it is truly appreciated and continues to help us meet the health care needs of our area.
